💭 QUESTION OF THE WEEK

Q: What does it mean when a child's IEP team keeps saying “research-based”?

A: It means there's actual science behind the strategy, not just "this worked for my cousin's kid." Look for interventions with peer-reviewed studies, not just testimonials. If someone can't cite the research, that's your cue to ask for specifics. Your child deserves strategies with more proof than a TikTok trend.
